Dawn, congratulations on your new position as president of ROAR.

Recently there has been negative talk towards the ROAR organization amongst the off-road community with respects to not adapting to new technologies (brushless, LiPo, 8th scale electric, etc...). Seeing the title of this thread that you have created has created a glimmer of hope for an updated ROAR organization.

Now is the time to make the necessary changes to take advantage of the increased interest in electric off-road.

I wish you all the best,
Steve

1/8th scale electric is a fledgling class just getting started. I would rather see ROAR concentrate efforts on reviving 10th scale electric off road and addressing BL/LiPo for off road and TC in general. In both these segments at the local/club level; BL/Lipo are already very prevalent.

Dawn,

Thank you for stepping up as ROAR President. This thread just shows that there are some us that want to improve ROAR and make the changes needed to keep up changing times. Region 2 will do what ever we can to bring electric back to front again.

Andy Moore is great rep. for the Off- Road committe.

Chris Wolfson will be helping me in Region 2 as I try to cover as many races as I can.

Thanks
Kevin Boyle
