:flam ing:: flaming: I am extremely jealous! In this great city of Chicago there is only one track within 45 minutes of me for off road (i'm a south sider). Hopefully a second very soon in Frankfort. Leisure is the one about 45 mins from me. The north side of Chicago has a little better odds.

The Clay Pit Raceway @ Speedster Hobbies (indoor electric, all clay)

Right now with the heat so stinkin' hot here in Texas, I've been racing here a lot since they have A/C and you aren't out in the sun. The power, wifi, plasma TV's and concessions as well as a well-stocked hobby shop are a bonus.

The currently layout is a little different, but this gives you an idea of what's up.

It's also run by some pro racers and is frequented by some insanely fast racers, so it's a great environment to get faster in.

That wall looks perfect for backflips. We used to have a wall and it was really fun
