Look at the back of the pinnion gear!!!!!!!!!!! Mine had flashing that needed to be removed.

Default Do not change B44 gear shimming.

ATTENTION: Do not change from the stock shimming.

The gears are plastic and will break in, removing all the little imperfections on the teeth that make it seem tight. If you loosen up the gear mesh for when the gears are new, it will be too loose once you run the car and you will probably break gears.

Do trim away any flashing on the back side of the drive pinions.

he's right, my front gears seemed way too tight but instead of removing the shims i let it go and ran a pack and right after that the gears smoothed out to a perfect mesh.

So I'm gonna hold off on the front one-way, but where can I get the center one?
No center available yet that I know of for the B44. I am still running the BJ4 for now and don't ever run a one way.

Can someone recommend a pinion to be used on a fairly large track with a Mamba 6900?

Mamba might have something on their website similar to Novak as far as gearing goes. They tell you the what the final drive should be close to on each class of car, so you can figure out your pinion/spur combo to get the recommended final drive ratio.

What spur gear does it come with? I know the gear ratio is 2.5:1
