'02 (I think?) Cactus used combined times to sort qualifying.

'02 was the last year of rocket round (which was sUper dialed if you ask me ), '03 was the combined times race, and they've run points since '04

Yeah, track looks good, super smoother and super fast, not a very 'Cactus' like layout, but will still be the bomb!

So are there any covered pit areas? I just got in from Texas and didnt bring any shade other than the cap I'll be wearing.. Hah! Any locals mind sharing some of the shade and some pit space? Hope to meet some of you all during practice tomorrow.

No shade Everyone brings their own EZ ups Ask around, I'm sure you'll find someone that can spare a little shade

Alex Krieg (well, not really running for them, just running an X-6 and pitting with them and he's my kid and I'm proud of him so I had to throw his name in there )

Brandon said tonight's club race will be on www.LiveRC.com

The track has a big quad jump. If you come up short you break. So many are doing triple, single.

I'm heading out in a few hours to Cactus. Be there in about 6 hours! I just talked to someone about an hour ago that said the club race was canceled.
