Default F250 Krackn

I'm really dissatisfied with my F250 body.....Ive ran JConcepts for awhile and this thing is ridiculous....it cracked along the upper body seam all the way down the truck in less than two races....my illusion chevy 1500 lasted almost an entire season with me behind the sticks at the same tracks!!! Holding each one in my hand it is easy to tell the weight difference between the two...i know that u want as little high mounted weight as possible.....but a body that will not last is not something im interested in...I'm going to consider my F250 a waste of time and money....good thing there are alot of other body choices available.

Did you happen to have a change in paint colors there were the body was scored?

Lexan thickness differs from time to time just the way it is. I noticed it on the high downforce wings. Call them jconcepts will make it right.

Hi Paul,

The orange 3Ds for 2wd buggy work really well on the hot dusty outdoor tracks here in Australia.

I'm hoping JC will release orange 3Ds for stadium truck too. Green DDs work great but the wear rate is too high (one or two packs at most). Orange Bar Codes don't work as well when it's dusty.

Cheers!

Using the supplied foams brand new, you should see my tire fitting area, since we don't need 8-10 batteries per car per class anymore I go overboard in the tire thing. Even fitting JC closed cells leaves a gap between the tire and the foam and the tire just squirms all over the place. Fill it with a fat open cell and the sidewall just rolls over. I like the rubber and the tread just wish it was a beefier carcass.

Good news on the XB4 body, holding my breath though as I am not a fan of most of the squared off cab forward thing.

When can we expect the new turnbuckles in stock on the website?

Jconcepts: Are you planning on releasing any 17mm hex SCT (SCTE OFFSET) wheels for use on the Tekno SCT410 truck anytime soon? I know the DE Racing wheels are good but I prefer a little variety when it comes to wheels.

PW said earlier this month there was currently no plans for the 17mm SCT wheel. However he said the requests were noted.

It's possible; things always seem to come and go full circle, but unfortunately you are in the minority right now and it won't be any time soon .

jmc5313....I was shocked to see your initial post about the F250. That has been hands down our most durable SCT body and we actually have quite a few indoor tracks that use the F250 body for their rental trucks because of it. I'm happy to see you found the remedy .

The 3D's for truck are on the list for sure, but I really have no idea on the time frame and can't promise them in Orange compound.

Sounds kinda bizarre what you are describing. The DD has been one of the most successful tires we have ever produced and I've never seen an issue with foam fitment. We normally run that tire in med/low bite conditions with great results, but we have run them on high-bite dusty conditions with equally great results.

When can we expect the new turnbuckles in stock on the website?
We are waiting on the new ball-cups to arrive as they will be packaged as a set . No official ETA as of right now, but hopefully soon.

What version ballcups did JC settle on? You ran one version at the Clash and Jason was running another version.
