This was my experience the first time but once you have done it a few times (and use a ball-end 2.5mm driver) it will be easier (not that I have to change motors often).

Once you get used the the dynamics of the car, and downside the jumps this will not be a problem.

Will there be any factory JConcepts drivers at the CRCRC 2008 Midwest Championships in January?

Yes, Get a long ball-end wrench. I can get to it from behind the shock. After a few times, it isn't hard at all.

I got to try some Double Dees in Green Compound on my B44 today. We usually run M3 Holeshots on this particular track so I knew they should be close.

After running about 15 minutes on them all I can say is wow. They feel better than my Holeshots but I am sure it is due to the fact the Carcus on the Doudle Dees is a little more rounded. It made the car corner much more predicable on the slippery parts of the track. Also the stock inserts are awesome...like a Trinity Bomb one insert. My car also felt like it had better forward bite probably due to the rubber compound and tread pattern.

Any way just wanted to say great job on the tires guys.

Any ideas when the new kyosho ST-RR body will be released, it was listed as a coming soon but that was a couple of months ago now.

and

Any idea how long until the yellow compound 1/8 scale tires will be released and if there will be a hard compound released

The ST-RR is on the list, but we have a number of projects going on at the moment, on top of the Holidays here, so it might be a little while out.

Yellow compound tires are in the works also (on of those projects), and should be available Q1 2008 (estimate). Yellow will be the harder of the two 1/8th compounds.

Thats a good question, many of our drivers have switched over to the AE car, so I cant say for sure. We still have many drivers supporting the car around the world, but I cant name anyone in that area off hand (I'll check into it).

Its nice to hear positive feedback, especially on something so crucial. Hopefully you'll pick up another set?

Ahh ok, cool. Be patient, launching a tire line is surprisingly involved, haha.:p

I will be there sporting the bodies, wheels, foams, wings, and other JC products. I will be running a B44, just have plenty of knowledge of the BJ4WE if you have any questions.;)

jkirkwood 12-20-2007 10:26 AM

Rod Rippie (I hope I spelled that correctly) maybe at the Midwest Champs. He's from southern IL and still runs the BJ4. I can't say for sure if he's going to be there but I know he's fast and will likely be in the main if he makes the trip.

Thanks Frank! I knew we'd have someone there. Did you get your painting situation worked out?

Ok I am new to 1/10th electric.

I'm the Australian Distributor for JConcepts so I thought I would drive a BJ4WE but I dont know what to put in it. What would every one say is the best motor combo to pick, I guys it would be brushless but what one and then theres the battery issue :) but tires are no problem I hear there are some great tires out now .

NZracer07 12-21-2007 02:02 AM
