Interesting stuff...The track looks fun and has a nice surface. Normally in those conditions (cold/damp/smooth) we would run silvers and not even try aqua. Aqua is a long wear med/soft compound that would normally be for warmer temps and natural grooved/dry surface. I would stick to what you feel is best and working for you
.
.I appreciate the insight on blue's. Makin is usually not dry, but good to know for other tracks I may visit.

New Smoothie 3 is out - hey PW can you fill us in? The press release has a lot of words but is slim on details. Seems like thicker and reprofiled carcass and lower sidewall height? On track differences? Smoothie2 staying in the line or is this a replacement? Glad to see more compounds available as the jump from Silver to Aqua is big right now.

The 3's are only available in green and blue right now. Silver is the go-to compound at Hoosier and Trackside, I'm assuming Silver at Hobby Action for DC too.

HOT!!! NEW!!! Smoothie 3 condoms in green/silver/blue compounds. Traction in any condition hot/cold/wet/dry reinforced, or non-reinforced carcasses which can be also turned inside out. Depending on your mood... Only available when the big ship from the China's is aloud in! I wonder if Hot Race knows of this...

What do you plan on using these for?
I guess I'm as curious as everyone else - developing a new slick in compounds nobody uses where slicks are used is an interesting choice for sure. Maybe it really is a dirt oval thing more than anything else. Any insights PW ?
