For the RB6 I've seen the tlr 5.0 shells fit ok but will need trimming to suit, as for the ZX7 not sure, you may have to take it to the track and try a few shells on it, most 4wd's are the same shape these days chassis wise so should find something to work

Announcement on new smoothie 2 tire? What's the purpose of a slightly thicker carcass. When you only run them at best 2-4 times at a race, and the insert goes... How about adding sidewall gluing dashes. For high traction/glued track situations...
The Smoothie 2 has been out for 3 years with amazing performance and has dominated the market. Today's release is just a different compound (blue) of the same tire/mold, nothing else has changed.
CobraCFI see the chart below for reference. Blue is softer than Silver, however for a different surface more for outdoor. If everyone is running Silver than that is what I would go with. Ask the fast locals what they are using and if they prep the tires in anyway.

When would I want to use Smoothie 2 blues? I currently am running Aqua on my 4wd, silver on my 2wd and SCT at my high grip clay track. Aquas have a touch more grip, but I am seeing the silvers lasting longer.
I am not PW and he may have a different answer. But in my 20 plus years of rc racing jc blue compound when we used to have to make our own slicks generally worked better on tracks that were dryer vs wet.
What track are you running at, because your results are a little strange with the wear? Normally Aqua last much longer than silver. There is a break-in period with Aqua where they will get graining, but then smooth back out and normally can run them 2 or 3 times as long as silver. Silver normally breaks in fairly quickly, but tend to get soft and can get to much traction on high bite surfaces.
As pink mentioned, we normally use blue when the track is not sealed and becomes dry.
