I don't think so, I would start with Fuzz Bite rear and swagger front

At least in Germany this is another piece of the Schumacher puzzle, even if their silver compound does not perform as well as Ballistic greens. I'd be more than happy to propose something different than Schumacher to my club president for the 2023 German 2WD nationals, but our track is notorious for wet conditions.

So I purchased some Ellipses for my S/C truck, and they have "L" and "R" molded in the sidewall of the tire. Might be a dumb question but is this left and right? I am asking only because the direction of the tread is opposite of how i have always mounted them on my 2 wheel.

Yes, they are marked "L" = left and "R" = right. However, this is mostly so they are packaged and mounted correctly since they can only be put on the wheel one direction (has to be 2 separate molds). Once mounted, you can run them either direction depending on your preference for a given track condition.

what would be the jconcepts equivalent, if any, to these new AE wheels? specifically as it relates to this increase in offset?

We actually made this change last year and released the 3353 front wheel. Basically Xray and TLR were already using this more offset wheel and AE decided to follow suit, so we released a wheel that worked for all 3.

Anyone know the weight difference between the AE B6-style Carbon Strap and the Swing-operated retainer system?

Unfortunately, I think they are being phased out.

For the new Slim buggy Pin Swag 2wd front tires, how does the steering feel in comparison to the common fuzzbites, assume in the normal "happy" direction when looking right at them.

It's weird, but I feel like they have more steering (not intended too). However, they seem smoother on the downsides of jumps while turning or off drop-offs. It's really something you have to try yourself.
