Thanks, MaX-D. SMT10 comes in at 13.9in w/b. Might be a stretch fitting the BAJR. Looks good on your application. Curious I was as how it compared to the JC 'Gonzer'. It comes in at 12.5in w/b. May be the better fit. See what JC Tech has to say. Regards. 'AC'

What 1/10 scale tires are available in the Aqua 3 or new Aqua 4 compounds? I can only find Aqua 2 tires.

None at the moment and I don't believe there are any plans for 1/10th A3 or A4 right now.

Hi,

What are the difference between the 2445 Servo Mount Bracket B5 and the 2567 B6 | B6D | B6.1 Servo Mount Bracket.

Is there any way to tell them apart?

Older post but thought I would give a heads up for anyone wanting to use a JConcepts B6 Servo Mount on a B5 Series.

Going on the above information, I purchased a B6 Servo Mount for my B5M , unfortunately the information is not correct.

The B6 Mount does not fit the B5 front chassis plate mounting , the unit is actually 2mm too wide , so it would require either modifying the front chassis plate for clearance, or filing/machining 1mm of each side of the servo mount, which would remove the support webbing and essentially defeat the purpose of the mount, IMO.

I'm on a hunt for a B5 version if anyone has one spare :-)

Any updates on other compounds for the smoothie 2?

rk_619 08-01-2022 07:50 AM

PW I see on the JC site the only compound available for 1/10th octagons is Aqua. Does that mean other compounds of Octagons are being discontinued? I know I haven't seen gold or silver in stock anywhere in a while.

I've asked this before on here and was told no other compounds other than sliver are in the works.

curious has there been any testing on a pin swag style layout of the but with the pins like what the fuzzbite has, basically more pin is even up and down instead of coned?

Unfortunately no other compounds right now. Maybe next season.

Unfortunately Octagons are discontinued and Aqua is the only compound left in stock.

We will have Pin Swags for the front at some point, but we won't be making any new versions or updates to the rear Pin Swag.

PW Thats disappointing to hear. Considering Smoothie 2's are impossible to find and not made in other compounds the Octagons were my go to tire. Will there be a replacement tire to take the place of the octagons?

The Smoothie 2's are the replacement, but unfortunately with the ongoing supply and demand issues with raw materials throughout the world, we had to limit what we can make. At some point, hopefully we can offer more compounds in the Smoothies.

How is the new A3 soft long wear compound. Is that close to an proline S3?

I've never compared them, but in theory should be close.

Any chance we could see a return of the 3D's? I run on a hard, dry, sometimes dusty outdoor clay track and green 3D's were absolutely dialed. I wish JC still made them for 1/10 buggy.
