This race would be the one at Waite Park MN, Thunder Road RC Raceway.

Got a set of nessis in here, for astro do you trim any of the treads off the side or just run them as is out of the box?

SCT Backpack

Amain says they were getting the SCT Backpack in January. Are you making it again? Because the part number is not on the website. Like it was discontinued

It was temporarily discounted, but we are making a new one. It will be the same dimensions, but all new materials and graphics. Unfortunately I don’t have an eta, but hopefully we will know more soon.

anyway to get some twin pin fronts similar to have schumacher does the fusion for wheeler?

Cain 10-02-2019 09:19 AM

racing on grey ozite carpet with a tire rule that limits us to dirt style tires basically, like octagons and smoothies .Track can be cool in the morning initially till people get to regularly running on it.

What compound these days would be recommended? Previously Gold or Green was used, curious if any new compounds good work. This would be mainly for stadium truck (2wd / 4wd) and 4wd buggy since 2wd buggy allows a spec tire.

Things are in the works, but no time table right now.

If gold works, then maybe the new Silver Octagons might be the ticket. The updated silver is a new clay compound similar to gold, but slightly softer - Click Here

Thanks! One thing we noticed to give an idea on what we have seen is that proline m4 compound after an initial saucing or two was sticky enough to not need more, but would wear quickly. Proline clay compounds lots of saucing. Jcons Octagons in green similar to proline m4 but better wear I thought. Gold bit less saucing. AKA Clays were the hot ticket for wear to traction ovrerall without needing as much saucing as other tires.

So curious maybe this new Silver compound could be the hot ticket

I'm not seeing Octagons in buggy sizes in silver compound anywhere. Have I missed something? Curious to know, as my track is the same surface/tire rules as Cain.

The tire compound chart on jconcepts.net needs updating. It doesn't include silver or aqua compounds.

Unfortunately we are still waiting on the Silver Octagons for buggy. My response to Cain was in regards to Stadium truck as he singled that class out in his post.

Davidka...Thank you for pointing that out. The direct charts (click here) were updated as well as the general "tire" (click here) section updated, but it appears we missed the charts in the individual vehicle segments. I have reported it to the web master
