Do the mbx7r nitro and eco silencer bodies fit differently? I have nice nitro body cut for eco, but it rubs my hardcase battery in the front and causes me to flex body to fit bar.

Any news on the new B6 aluminum front ball stud mount? I thought it was originally targeted for April?

I will have to check on the ETA.

Yes, they are different between nitro & eco.

PW, is there more battery clearance on eco version?

Yes; you can see the differences in the bodies. The body is several years old though, so I don't remember exactly where all the changes were made . We haven't had any complaints regarding body fitment with our 0268 Silencer on the Eco, but I can't guarantee 100% of the batteries will fit. Some batteries you may also have to turn on their side so large wire/plugs clear.

Can we ever expect retailers to be resupplied with 1/8th tires for this season? Places like Tower and Amain have been out of almost everything for months.

We actually have been doing well with tires, but unfortunately we have had some delays with getting inserts. We are working hard to get caught up.

I had a chance to meet PW at Stock Nats last weekend and he's one helluva nice guy. He also threw down with some fast guys before jumping back on this forum.

Thanks for your time and effort responding to our questions Paul. Let's keep it clean and positive fellas!

Jcon Tire Brush and Shorty Battery box ETA's?

Jason had previously said April ETA. but that didn't happen. Any update on these? Thanks!

Hello JC
Do you have any tire selection guide for your 1/8 buggy rubber? Your thread patterns look weird=) so any chart would be very helpful.

Also one more question: what JC tires missing being manufactured outside US?

I was told April as well, so I don't know at this point. I guess any day now is the best I can say.

We don't have a specific tire chart, but we do have a rubber compound chart. We do have some unique patterns, but we also have several traditional patterns too, so I don't consider them weird .

They were scheduled for the end of April with many other items, so hopefully early this month.

So we had our first race at a track I travel too that is a black dirt and rock mix, ran dry and very loose. Like old school loose lol.

Today in both 1/10 4wd and 2wd buggy I ran a range of tires from double dees, goosebumps and flipouts as well as aproline M4 blockades.

the double dees were decent but as soon as you headed out of the line you were done.

of the tire types the best was the proline but I think part of it was the tread depth, compound, and spacing of the pins. It could get me out of the fluff and then on the harder sections where the line formed could bite down.

I am looking for a tire that has great side bite, especially for my 2wd vehicles, what jconcepts tire offers that?

Have you looked at or tried the Reflex tire?
