You guys have a new body in the works for the B5m with the lowrider transmissions?? :sneaky:... Looks like Jason was running it...:nod:

:blush::sneaky:

Nice one! Any plans for Yokomo YZ-2 bodies? This buggy has been replacing B5Ms and the like at an alarming rate hereabouts. ;)
I am very happy about the release of the AE 5 series servo mount, no more blue on my T5M! Now all I need is some proper aluminum wheel hexes... :sneaky:

Hmm, if JC is making a low rider body......makes me wonder what AE might have in store for the worlds...

It's on the list, but nothing official.

This body was made using the Redworkshop transmission as that is what Jason used at the Turf Wars event. One of the designers of that tranny happens to race for JC ;)

PW,
Is there an ETA for getting 5 series steering bell cranks back in stock?

It must be close, but I don't know exactly.

Paul,

Are there any plans for a JConcepts body for the RC8B3e when it is released?

Yes...The nitro one is a direct fit as well for short term.

Great! Thanks for that info, I wasn't aware the nitro body fit the e buggy. ;

I was at my local hobby shop today and grabbed a pair of silver Dirt Webs (2.2" rears) and was happy to see they included the Dirt Tech insert. However neither the 2wd or 4wd fronts included the Dirt Tech insert, just the basic And 1 open cell foams. I went to another shop, a larger chain store, and they had the same Dirt Webs in silver rears but with the open cell foams.

How can we order the Dirt Web tire in the compound we like with The Dirt Tech insert we want? (The part numbers were the same).

Does the RC8B3 body fit on the MBX7R Eco

It was/is a running change and unfortunately the silver compound hasn't been as popular, so it's taking longer for us/distributors/dealers to get through the older inventory. Unfortunately our inventory for the fronts still has the And-1 open cell inserts.

I don't know, we haven't tried it. The biggest difference I've seen between the Mugen and RC8B3 in regards to body fitment, is AE squared up their "side guards" a little more. I'm sure the body fitment is pretty close though :blush:

Has anyone tried the Rips for 2wd buggy? I am eyeballing a pair to try for my track. right now I am running proline ribbed fronts but wan to change to Jconcepts. I have the rear in double dees and its hooking perfect at the track so I wanted to try some fronts from Jconcepts now

Rips are among the very best Rib tires. I've run the Prolines and they're just a hair off in terms of grip and the Panthers are a bit off from that.

Thanks so much! Sounds like its the tire I need! The proline are good but seem they just aren't gripping the way I would like. Now I just need to find them in the green compound. Jconcepts is out of stock of them or I would order asap lol
