I've been running Dirt Tech inserts on my buggy (front/rear) for about 6 weeks now. I'd guess there are a somewhere around 50-60 runs on them. How do I tell if the inserts need to be replaced? If my tires are lasting this long, should I just replace everything at the same time?

Sounds like you have a great product. I have heard people reusing the inserts at least once. If you take them out of your old tires just look them over for cuts, hard spots, soft spots.. anything that would make them inconsistent for starters. Replace them when you feel they need to be replaced.
Chances are your rubber is stretching or wearing out and you'll need some new ones first.

Anyone know if JConcepts is going to come out with 2.2 1/10 Truck Chopper Tires? Use the Choppers for SC and they're really the only thing that hooks up well at my local track.

Thats the only thing that hooks up? That's a very aggressive tire!

For the most part yeah! My track is mostly sand and some dirt. People have nicknamed it "the sandbox" haha. The go to tire used to be the aggressive losi step pins but now since losi quit making tires we've had to look for other options. Some people use gladiators but if the track was just watered down the gladiators get clogged with dirt making the tire almost a slick.

2.2 Dirt Web Buggy Tire Inserts

Are dirt tech inserts included? 2.4's do.

What titanium turnbuckles should I get for the T5M? Can you be specific with the part number from Amain so I can have them on hand when my truck arrives this week?

What JC bits have you got for sale for the t5m?

No plans for that at the moment.

We actually have a new part number for the T5M turnbuckle kit #2441, but I don't think they have shipped to A-Main yet. AE went with the shorter 67mm turnbuckle (compared to the T4.2) all the way around to make it easier with the longer B5/T5 ball-cups. I'm pretty sure the T4.2 kit (#2226) would work, but you will have to thread the ball-cups on much further making them harder to adjust.

The T5M will share almost all the same alloy parts from the B5M; motor plate, front hinge-pin brace, steering bellcranks, rear ballstud mount, battery brace, precut chassis tape. We will be doing updated hexes and axles for 5mm.

I'm looking for a tire suggestion for my B4.2. Our indoor track is medium + traction when it's wet. Dirt Webs in green work great. When the track dries out it starts to get slippery. I was thinking about trying some Splitters in the rear but am looking for a suggestion for a front tire to match.

Bar codes with the outside rib cut off is good on a hard pack dry track.
