So all you JC guys, whats a go to tyre for 1/10? Track got a little grip, fairly loamy and choppy in places. Outdoor clay/dirt mix.
Thanks! |

Thank you!
Ive got hybrids, flip outs and goosebumps all in green. Might go with the goosebumps first run or two, then go to a hybrid as it dries out. |

I ran Double Dees in almost identicle sounding conditions, and they were super hooked up.
Usually Super Soft (Green) is just right but for added grip in the mains Mega Soft (Black) increases grip just that much more. |

After an amazing event put on by jconcepts yesterday, my DD's were superb although my driving was a bit off all 2wd, but drove decent in 4wd in both qualifiers on green DD's. However, in the 4wd c main I ran splitters for the first time and my car was planted. Started 8th and going up to turn 2 there was a big pile up and I just about made it cleanly to zoom into 2nd but someone gunned their way out of the pile and clipped me just enough to spin me into the pipes. I came out of that in 6th and a lap later another pile up in front and this time I got by clean and into 3rd place and was gaining in 2nd until a turn marshal (young kid) jumped out at the wrong time as I was about to launch on our huge triple and I just saw the kid in time to veer to the infield so as to not take his head off. Then he looked at my car sitting there for about 5 seconds, upon which time I had to choice but to yell c'mon turn marshal!!! Lol
By then I was back to 7th with under 2 minutes to go but from there I put in the best laps I've put together in a race and battled back to finish on the wing of third place. Moving forward, Splitters will be my outdoor tires for most conditions. Just a great tire! |
Any places have dirt webs in any compound in stock yet?
EDIT: I just ordered two pair of green dirt webs from Superior Hobbies. They should have about 5 pair left at the moment. |
Where can I buy some gold dirt webs?
