JC company you guys should do some indoor carpet tires for 1/10 off road

Noted.

ide like to see a cab forward or "bulldog" style Short Course body. . function over form. . . . possible?
Not sure that's the best thing for that class at the moment. Plus it would have to be "Punisher or Finnisher" style since that came first ;)

WTB 3d's 10th scale buggy tires
Production is in the works.

+1 stadium too
Sorry, not anytime soon.

what surface would those be good for? Topsoil/clay that slowly builds up a dusty layer?
in summer i run a y bar like tire and switch to a double dee/holeshot tire when conditions get dusty, the pin tires rip when the surface is swept and they cause over traction and that is what rips the dirt, i hope this tire could work for me.

Jconcepts your tires are great! Idk but are the molded inserts softer now? the old ones were to stiff. Currently use a proline foam in these. wish i could keep the same company on the cell
The 3D's were mostly designed for slick groove conditions, but I'm sure they will become a very versatile tire. We have a new soft closed-cell insert coming out 3206-2 that has been extremely good. Not sure when they will start shipping to dist.

would you please list the 12mm hex, short course rims in order of their offset and list the offset? This would also be a great tool for your website so people that have a set of your rims would know what would happen to their width if they were to try a different rim offset.
That's a big task and will take some time. For now, we recommend the wheel that fits a particular vehicle as it keeps it race legal (max width) and leave it up to the "hobbyist" to experiment.

For SC I've seen a lot of the JC guys cutting X's into the foams to soften them up. Perhaps Paul or someone else can go into better detail about it...
I personally haven't seen anyone doing this; but I'm sure guys are trying everything...Ha Our SCT inserts are some of the softest out right now and I don't see the need to make them softer. Our first gen buggy inserts are firm and the new trend is softer material.

3D's are cool

I am loving the Finnisher body on the 22. Feels just as good or better than stock on it.

I would say put the Finnisher on top of the to do list for the 22t, but that's just me....lol.

It's actually off the list because it's already available...LOL

I know this is off road thread but...what would be a good JConcepts tire for a sc10 on-road racing but must be off road tires? We run on a parking lot in the summer so the track temps can get pretty high. He sprays the track so grip is pretty good.

Well here is the problem. I have 5 pairs of the rulex 3330 rims for the blitz, all were purchased new in package on 5 different types of tires. All sets measure about 300mm + or - 1mm on the front or rear. As you know max is 296mm. My blitz has very little neg camber and the only change I have made to the car is I run 4 deg rear toe instead of the stock 3.
I am by no means a fast racer but I do want to keep my cars legal.

They have a chart called "Tire Compound Key" that shows yellow, white, & orange as outdoor tires.

Yellow- high temp, medium feel, long life & consistent traction
White- high temp, medium feel, for abrasive tracks
Orange- high temp, SOFT feel, for black/blue groove & dry tracks.

If it were me I'd go with a 'Bar Code' pattern tread.

Awesome. Can't wait to try the 3D's in buggy. Also good news that you are doing a softer closed cell. I just started trying other brands to see how they felt in the tires but nothing feels quite right yet. Hopefully the new inserts will be what I am looking for!

The 3330 is for the HPI Blitz.
The 3332 is for the AE SC10.

Actually you misread the 2nd number - 3322 I understand, your getting old...

3330 - HPI
3322 - Slash Rear

They are the same exact wheel and offset.

Ok, I was tripping. Maybe I was thinking Punisher. I was looking for something more angular in the nose area I guess. Reminds me of a Chevy the grill.

I may have to pick one of these up soon.

What is the window for shipping the 3d's?

Nice job on the SC10 body brace. I can't believe it took this long for somebody to figure out that truck needs it.
