I was actually pleased that it was a ball cup and not my FT arm or Ti turnbuckle or even worse. It did sideline me for the heat race.

You think the weather/temp has something to do with it?

The only reason why I went with the RPM ballcups on my B44 was for pure aesthetics...

The AE ones on my other vehicles have always held up nicely...

This is probably dumb, but are the Jconcepts White wheels (and the proline wheels, for that matter) can they be dyed?

Yes. RIT Fabric dye and just enough heat to make the water lightly boil and steam. High heat will cause some plastics to warp. Stir occasionally to make sure the parts don't settle in one spot or the dye won't penetrate as well. Just take your time.

question

Need some advice, Mounted up a new set of green goosebumps on rulux SC wheels. Spun the hex out of the wheel so i figured i could bake the tire off and just replace the wheel. Tire came off with no problem but now it is larger than before?? i have done this trick before to soft compound tires with no ill effects . Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

I'm not a big fan of boiling the tire off. It cooks the oil out of the tire. I did try it on a set of greens and they didn't get any larger. Try some WD on them and let them sit overnight. I'd also try some soft 1/8th scale foam. I normally just cut mine off now with much better results.
