Most guys run the stock inserts for most conditions. Some of the guys are running the closed-cell inserts on super high-bite conditions.

Carver

hi - what's the right way to mount the Carver 2.2" truck tires?

That is up to you. It can be done either way. I like to have a lot of steering, and that way is to have the "V" looking treads to the outside, and the sharp edge to the inside. The other way, from what I am told, is smoother and not as aggressive. If your track is rough, the second way will be better, as it won't "grab" all of the bumps, and ruts. Hope this helps.

How do the 2 piece stock inserts work with the goosebump tires? Does the 1/2" wide piece go against the outside wall of the tire?

The 1/2" wide peice is used for the stock Traxxas wheel and goes on the 2.2 side (outside wall). You don't need to use it for the JC Rulux wheels.

Thanks. The tires do fit great on the Rulux wheels with only the one insert.

+1 definately! Since NOBODY can keep in stock the kyosho wheels, they sell out almost instantly! Plus your wheels look sweet!

I noticed that Tower has a pending new Body. The 16th Slash Truth body. I want on for my Mini Slash as soon as it releases. Any news when this will come? What about SCT Goosebumps for the mini Slash? That would be sweet!!!!

Rulux spokes are where it is at!

For those wanting great front end grip, we have been running double dee's all the way around, and on blue groove double dees front, and bar codes rear. DIALED! Groovys and Rounders still have a place in our heart, but we have been messing with different configurations in practice.

You tried barcodes up front? I like doing that indoors here... and it "looks" proper with the barcodes on all fours.

That is my plan for running indoors.

I know I've asked this question before, but I want to ask it again,

Is JConcept planning on doing any RC kits like the BJ4, BJ4WE in the future?

Would be cool to see them do a 4x4 SC truck based on AE parts...
