Regarding the Rulux wheels:

3306:

http://www.jconcepts.net/store/index...roducts_id=217

and

3307:

http://www.jconcepts.net/store/index...roducts_id=218

It says it fits the B44, does it also fit the BJ4WE?

Ok, I just found out from oople.com's forum that you need a b44 hex to fit the b44's front wheels...

A couple more question for you BJ4WE owners:

1) Does the B44 undertray fit the BJ4WE?

2) Can the B44 transmission be used on the BJ4WE?

It fits but the b44 has a different shape towards the rear chassis so it doesn't cover the entire rear end of the bj4. It works fine however.

I havent heard anything about that, I think the design may not suit 1/10th scale.

There's a mini bumper for the 10T, B2, B3, B4/T4, and etc...

Also, I would like to use an RPM bumper in the front, which one of these mini bumpers fits the front of the BJ4WE?

2) Regarding BJ4WE bodies, do all of these bodies fit the BJ4WE:

0051 - Illuzion –B44 “Hi-Flow” body w/6” V-wing

0061 - Illuzion – B44 – Scoopless body

What's the difference between the 0051 body and the 1100 (stock BJ4WE) body? They look almost the same...
I know RPM makes a front bumper for the B4, which would also fit the BJ4 WE. Both the 1100, the 0051, and the 0061 fit the WE. The 0051 has added space for brushless speed controls, as well as larger openings for vents.

I let my buddy try my bj4 we which has been sitting out for like 5 months--dusted it off, ran a few laps and let him have at it. By the time the pack was drained he was bugging me to sell him my car--he ran some of his best laps ever within 2 minutes of driving it with a radio he doesn't like and never driving a bj4 ever before.

Its super dialed but I do want to see what that one-way will do.
I think we do have some of those laying out. Perhaps check our site again?

Needing B44 hexes is correct. The B44 undertray should fit pretty well, but the transmission cases wont. I think the diff gears/balls/rings might be the only interchangable parts.

Thumbs up

Thumbs up for Andy for answering the 100000000000000 of questions just waiting for him!

BJ4WE rocks!

Any plans from JC to make an actual undertray for the BJ4WE? The current tray is for the BJ4 (not the WE) right? I really would love it if there was a direct replacement... Oh well, back to trimming the B44 undertray...

Regarding the bumpers, I order up some T-Bone's bumpers for the BJ4WE. I really love their design. Plain but straight to the point, with enough kick-up to prevent the nose from catching. I've used the RPM wide bumper on the B4 in the past, and they protect, but was a killer on the two screws for the bulkhead everytime my B4 took a nose dive and dove into the dirt...

Regarding the bodies, I'm going to be looking for them at my LHS that carries JC bodies... The 0061 Illuzion for the B44 is very niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice...

Here is a pic of the B44 tray cut to fit the BJ4 WE (note the cut out on the back of the tray).

Its my fault for not posting for a day, haha. I dont think we're going to make an undertray for the BJ4, especially since the B44 piece works pretty well. The 0061 looks even better in person.

Of course I would have--Andrew was standing there not driving anything, you were pretty focused on your B4. Seriously, anytime you ever want to drive/borrow anything of mine you are always welcome to.

Hmmm, you should probably keep it away from my hands, for some reason, my BJ4WE is attracted to the walls when I drive mine...

Seriously though, last weekend, I took my BJ4WE out for a drive around a newly built track near my area, I didn't break any pieces! I think part of the reason was because the layout wasn't as aggressive as the place I used to run it at... I think having prescription glasses this time also helped out...

I noticed that JC has some pretty interesting tire treads. What do you guys think of the Goosebumps and the Double Ds? DDs looks very similar to the Holeshots, so I imagine they would work very simliar, and the goosebumps seems like a cross between step pins (my old favorite) and Losi's taper pins.

It's so nice to see 4WD have so much more choices in tires! More choices means more fun!

Goosebumps working well for my b44 & T4 on a 'bowtie' track. I highly recommend them. Great tire. Waiting for winter/indoor track to open back up to try the D's...they are definitely softer than PL holeshoots and should work well. Courious what the wear will be on the D's indoors.

The Double D's may look similar. But that is where they stop.
The carcass design is a JConcepts original. As such, the tire is
different from the, "other one". Tire wear will depend on your surface.
The Goosebumps is great for a loser surface. It's been a great tire.
