Default X6 XFactory in 07

reboot of an old thread X-6 buggy in 06

how's it going with your X6 in 07?

got 6 or more that are raced @ www.trcc.org.uk

done a Battery Starp Mod to mine you can see here.

If your not planning on running stick or li-po batteries you may want to do this.

On the underside of the battery strap I've ground off the mouldings that sit between the batteries. With out these I found the strap sat/located on the batteries much better. That was before I even did the rest of the mod.

Have also reshaped the front of strap so that tubes are easier to get to when strap is in place.

On the battery posts there is a small moulding circle, that's were I drilled the hole for the pins to go in.

Check out those Shimz in my profile too

they are for adujusting the rear anti-squat on the X6. Much easier to use than those pesky little white washers. Details in the link

If you want to check out some dedicated X-6 forums, go here www.2wdrc.com and click on forums. Tons of great stuff.

My lap times have improved over the last couple of months. It took a bit for me to get the setup down, but working with Dirt, it is getting really good now! The car holds a corner on entry much better, flies awesome, and soaks up landings. I love it. If you give it a try, a fair one, you will like it.

Ive been loving mine since the day it hit my door. I find it easier to drive, and my laptimes improve everytime I get a chance to drive.

All the tracks around, quite a few surfaces, indoor and outdoor, wet track and blue groove, it always works! I have a setup sheet if you want to PM your email.

He is with X-Factory. He has not been able to race yet, but has helped a ton in the R&D and setup aspects of both cars. We hope he will make it to the track soon, but there is no definate timeline.

Dale - Not really sure how much info I can give you on this. I can tell you that it probably won't be available till early next year...

But with that said, all that really needs to be done to an X-6 to make it a truck.... is to lengthen the chassis, bolt on a T4 front end (the easy part), and you can make T4 rear arms, and bones work, the only real need for serious modding will be the rear tower...
