The thrust bearing is great and I would not change those.

Get 3/32 carbide diff balls for the large gear balls.

Kyosho Part# UMW123.

AE and Losi carbide diff balls will work as well since these are standard size balls and not metric.

Racenut - Man, you must own every car made. Kyosho, Associated, Losi, HB, X-ray, Duratrax, Yokomo, etc. etc. I can't keep up with you.

I say you gotta try everything at least once to make an educated choice. The RB5 is dialed. But so is my B4,but in a different way.

i'm feeling tempted to buy the atomic carbon rear tower for the RB5...it looks like a very legitimate tuning option. But with the money conversation, the rear tower alone is $40-ish....sure looks like I legit tower though

Oh yeah...LOL...same as my large losi wrench...my bad. I have not much use for SAE measurements. I just know that AE balls work.

I cant say Ive ventured out of the stock hole range yet, but it could prove useful at some point. If nothing else, I doubt you'll ever break it, AND it looks super trick.

Just an FYI...I just talked to Jeff at Speedtech and they got a Kyosho shipment in. They have some RB-5 bodies there...not checked in yet...but they're there, so you can place an order in a couple hours.

I'm gonna make a decision tonight, but I really do want to get those Ti screws for my car.

Thoughts:
I put the lipo in the car and dropped a few OZ out of the car like that and honestly felt like the car handled noticeably better. I realize that too much weight loss can lead to an poor handling car however if you can remove weight from something as simple as a screw and then add it somewhere else where that weight can be used as an effective tuning option....well then that's a win-win.

i use mugen screws coz well i run a mugen mtx-4 and i have alot of ti screws kicking around.
and if the car is really light you just change your setup for it.
i think if you can find them mugen screws are cheaper than lunsford, well here anyways.

Hi Guys,

We're fully stocked with Kyosho parts again: bodies, LA243's, wings, etc.

My fault for not saving the picture when I had it.....can someone re-post the picture of the 3 rear arms together? yall know what i'm talking about? the three rear arms side by side by side that shows the lengths.

if someone can post this, that would be great! i'll be sure to save it!

thanks!

Thank you Casper!!!! I saved it this time! ya know....2mm is so negligible that I'm really thinking of going to the stock arms to try them. I have yet to try a short arm...it should make the car rotate better right? My track is CRAZY tight so a shorter rear width might make the car rotate better....am I on the right track?

I tried to mount up the bones/zx-5 hubs combo and it's no good, not with the middle arms, it "should" fit with the long arms, but I didn't like them when I tried them. You will need shorter bones, and you will need to grind a bit of the arm since the cup hits it at full droop.

I've got the short bones already...the stock bones and the mid arm bones. I'll just swap the short bones and arms. I think it might be good for my track...I'm surprised I haven't tried it yet!
