If I were considering getting a truck, should I wait until the Matt Francis version comes out?
#3
Yeah, you should. It will only be about 30 or 40 bucks more, and you get everything! Plus, you don't get just plain old blue, you get red! Wheels and everything!
#4
ya that francis truck is hot....but i am not sure i can part with my old truck...
#5
What's your old truck?
#6
Does anybody have a XX-4? I was thinking of getting one a LLLLLOOONNNNGGGGG time ago and im thinking of really trying it now

speedo, xxxt

AE_Racer: I have a XX4, one of the first kits. What do you want to know, ask away!
#9
Well, is it a good buggy to start offroad with? Although, I may not get one because the track might not have a 4wd class
#10
i have a xx4 also, but there is no place to race it around here...i have thought a bout selling it..i supose if i could get a decent price for it....

XXX-T, not so old then!
I think it would be cool for AE to make an off-road 4WD buggy based on the TC3...The losi would get it's butt kicked, the TC3 is so easy to work on...BUT the XX4 does look like a good car...Wonder if they will make a XXX4 based on the XXX-s?

Yea, a while back there was talk, I heard about one being made off the Tc3. A while back on HPI a guy converted a Tc3 to a buggy, I think he said RCCA will do a feature on it like in next months mag...DUnno
#13
That would be cool, cause from a maintanance standpoint, it would rock!
#14
why do you say the losi would be beaten by a tc3 offroad????the xx4, is very balanced and easy to drive...i do not think the tc3 would convert well, that is why it has not been done....you would break a ton of shafts....from the car flexing,

the car had/has aluminum chassis braces, and the chassis was extended...he had to custom makea bunch of stuff, it was a really nice buggy from what I seen
