I'm working on mine but the servo is giving me problems. I can't seem to get the tires to turn fast enough.

I race a lowered and offset T3 on a carpet oval and another T3 on carpet offroad. Indoors, on the smooth carpet they are great. I raced a T3 outdoors dirt offroad until last year when I tried a XXX-T. I couldn't believe how much better it was in the dirt. But on a smooth track, the T3s are fine.

Default T3

I am new to offroad (Bad at onroad too) and I raced a T3 against T4s and a Losi at our last race day. It is at least as quick as any of them. I was 1 lap down on the winning 3 but that was purely because of my driving. I reckon if the winner was driving a T3 he would have still won the day.
I have a B3 as well and it is also very competative with more modern buggies. Once again mostly driving difference.
I have no intention of upgrading in the forseeable?(dont know if it's spelt right) future.'This truck is great fun. Not only that several others retired hurt but the T3 is solid.

I race my T3 in Vineland NJ on large outdoor track 179' stright away and very big jumps and it keeps up with all the T4's,XXXT'S AND WHAT EVER. This year I switch to a Tekin RS-PRO/6.5 combo and 5000 mha lipo's max power
good luck this season eveybody.

I am new at this so I cant suggest what to use but the T4 gearing is pretty close to the T3 so if you check through the T4 thread their gearing would be a good starting point.

Default T3 parts

Does anyone know if any parts from the Gt series fit the T3.
I was at racing tonight and a fellow racer had a T2 with GT front. There is talk in the T4 thread about the GT2 parts fitting the T4.

The T3 tranny is a 2.40/1 tranny with a stock 84 or 87 spur gear, I would suggest to start out with a 16-17 teeth pinion and go from there.

My daughter is currently running my T3 with a 17.5 brushless system, and so far, it hasn't broken... Very durable trucks...

It seems like this truck was liked by few, and unknown to many..

I like the T3...it shows its age compared to other trucks but its still cool

Still running my RC10T3 at XtremeRC in Springdale, AR. The track is indoors and hard packed.

Running the PDF Manual setup for the team kit, but using #2 pistons all the way around, 30wt oil, silver front springs, blue rear. Lipo battery with a Novak Super Sport + SS5800 motor gearing 15/87. I use a zip tie through the servo wire hole to hold the battery in, and tape the foam spacers to the battery.

The Thunder Tiger Phoenix ST and TX parts are a direct bolt on for spares, because AE gave the plans to TT as part of a partnership deal. Tower still carries some original parts, though.

My brother and I both run T3's on an indoor dirt oval in Rochester, Mn. They have speedys racing parts shock towers, TC3 shocks with RC4less springs, gone bananas racing pink foam tires, mcallister thunder valley T truck body and an fantom 5.5 turn motor.
On new years eve they had the 2nd annual holiday 100 with 60 laps heats and a 100 lap a main. I qualified 2nd and won the a with 100 laps 2 laps up on 2nd place.
Also finished 4th at the Midwest outlaw winter nationals a couple weeks ago.
