Sure it's good to race, it is a copy of Losi and with a few upgrades it can be a great race truck.

I know some use the crowd pleazer but I didn't care for it, it really didn't fit that well. I just got the XXT Losi body and it actually fits as well as the stock one. The rear dimples line up perfectly but the front dimples are a little high but if you make your holes about 3/4" lower it will drop right on. It's the orange and white body a few posts back.

Default good thread

first off the NOVICE GUY is a idiot and dont pay attention to him
second YES DURATRAX honors the warranty on not only the graphite but ALL the plastic/composite parts including the gears.I know they send me alot of them!!!!!!!
third I won the mod truck class at the HOT ROD HOBBIES series with a Evader st pro with a novak 4.5, and m8 with spektrum equipment, with 4 "A" main wins and a 4th and a 6th. The sixth was because I fried a gear in the trans with a minute to go and the 4th I broke a front arm and dragged the front wheel for three laps.
It takes some work but it is a durable truck. The trans is the weak link. I go thru mine after every race and carry a spare. I also have a ep buggy and 2 gas trucks. And cant wait to go to BAKERSFIELD and spank that NOVICE GUYS ASS!!!!
I dont have a hobby shop within a hour so I choose mine because Tower ships same day for FREE cause I am a TOWER member and its a cheap parts car--and YES the LOSI stuff works on it.
The rear arm mounts also suck but the trinity aluminum ones are the cure but they are going for 30-35 bucks so I havent gotten one yet although I put a Horizons on the gasser st and it fixed the problem----------
GO DURATRAX--
proud owner of 5 of them, 2 tc3's one oval and one on road, a Corally 1/12 on road, and a ofna hyper--
oh and did I mention I also have 8 national titles racing REAL off road cars-----LOL

Congrats on winning with your evader, way to go! Instead of spending $35.00 for rear arm mounts why not just get the brace kit from positiverc? It's $15.00 and works great. I haven't broke any more mounts since I put those on. Also if you install the metal idler gear for the nitro evader you won't be having any more trany problems.

Default pin retainers

I have two of the se I made myself the problem is with the actual mounts coming loose and breaking into---I am currently using 3 degree LOSI blocks and they seem to be working better and I have the idler in the trannies the problem there is the bottom gear exploding and the center is breaking out---probably a result of the 4.5 brushless and the rediculous power it puts out-----even with the slipper backed off----I need a metal bottom gear the rc 10 gear is close but the outputs are a different size---but I am not giving up---- maybe someone will make a gear---someday
