sounds like either you have a bearing going (metal shavings) out or dirt in the engine kncocking out the glow plug
#3
i dont see shavings if its dirt than how do i fix it? i think im on the ritch side a little to but dont you have to be like really ritch to be messing up glow plugs?

Hey.
I read somewhere else that you've just gotten this beast? How many tanks has it been through?
You'll tend to foul plugs quite often until everything's nicely loosened up and you start leaning the HSN. i.e. as you're breaking it in.
Also... what plug are you using, what kind of engine and what % nitro content?
Ps. That avatar rocks.

i have a TRX2.5 im using a hot standard long glow plug by Traxxas and i have had about 3/4 gallon of 20% traxxas top fuel.

you may be running too rich or too lean.......too rich and its gona dismantle the element and too rich itll burn it out and make it go grey down the bottom...you read the plug by looking at it..if its nice n shiny down the bottom its good
#8
what do you mean shiny at the bottom? bottom of the element?
#9
yeah at the bottom of the element....and the bottom of the plug should be a caramel colour aswell as wen u look inside the glowplug hole

....and if the element's moved around inside the plug, then you're probably detonating which is caused by running too lean, or too hot of a plug. You can tell for sure if you're detonating by pulling the head and looking at the top of the piston. If it looks like it's been sandblasted, then you're detonating.

and if ur detonatiing u should install 1 or more head shims....
