i got this 1400mah rx batt to power two heavy duty digital servos that lasts only 50ish minutes. in the main, i go with alkalines.
and last weekend i blew ko2144 steering servo. oh man this off road thing is really abusing the hell out of the electronics.
anyone using a fail safe spring on the carbie ?

That spring is another load on the throttle servo. I also heard digital servos are not good in off road. Right now I only use digital servos on my 1/8 on road car. I am sticking to analogs on my off road. (S9402).

i am using digital servos for throttle and steering
i have only busted one throttle servo so far and that was caused by a big accident
however they arent recommended by most people
you have to set your endpoint adjustments very carefully
i cant wait till MBX5 comes out it looks really cool

I have medium springs all around. My track is really bumpy and have lots of ruts especially in the 200 ft straight. My buggy when I punched the throttle in the straight feels like it's jumping more on the air than touching the ground. Should I go to softer springs so I can get more traction? What will happen if I go soft all around? How about soft at the back and medium in front?

can any1 comment about RB C3 engine?

C3? I only know of the C4 and current incarnation the C5. Both of those have heinous amounts of power, both torque and top end.

Adding a little more droop front and rear would be nice too.
