The thing about the MP7.5 is that because rear toe-in is set by the pivot pin holders on the gearbox there is never any variation there. The only place where a Hudy would be useful is the front toe-in. Camber can be done with a camber gauge and wheels with no tyres mounted on them (or glue 4 CDs together...)

I just bought a REX P5 and was surpised to see the glowplug included with it is not a turbo plug. The instructions also shows an optional turbo. So my question is, can I use both plugs then?

I also heard people not using front brakes, they say it turns easily (drift)...it's like driving 4wd and braking 2wd rear only. Has anybody tried this?

alot of people have told me turbo plugs dont do well in offroad engines

in fact ive heard many people perfer regular plugs in all engines apparently turbo plugs can make tuning difficult

as far as brakes go i and most people i know race with more rear brake than front and a few i know use only rear brake depends on how much steering your looking for

Anybody have a good setup for the Kanai 2? What kind of gauges or tools do you use to measure toe-in and camber? Are guys just using that RPM toe-in and camber gauges?

cool collections of "setup seat" for K cars at www.nitrocross.com

i set and leave cambers at -1 all around using rpm camber gauge.
the only thing i always pay more attention when setting up a buggy is the front toe and f/r droop adjustments and also the diff oil setting.

The k2 is almost perfect out of the box with kit settings. If you try it out and you have a push then but the standard diff gears with 7000 weight oil in the center diff. I hardly ever use front brakes in my buggy and for the p5 you would have to purchase a different head button to use a turbo plug.......

I have the R1 race engine in my 1/8 on road car and the REX P5 have the same head button. I use turbo plugs in my R1 engine.

OS 21 V01 with OS t-2030/t-2050 are one deadly combination.

okay....I read the manual that came with my engine. My engine is the long stroke version...I can use both the C6S special plug and the C6TF turbo plugs. I would stick to using this special plug for awhile since it's giving me no problems right now.

The MBX5 will be out soon in about 2 months time, can't wait to get my hand on it.

I have placed advance order for it at the hoobyshop already.

Tried running the Kanai 2 yesterday at the track........note to self.....threadlock...threadlock....threadlock...I lost a couple of screws, nuts, washers.....especially in the steering. Off road wears out receiver batts fast. I am using the OFNA 1000mah NIMH brick pack...are there better receiver packs out there?
