Default Body

What body is recommended for this truck, my local track is an indoor clay track. This is my first SC truck, I am not sure if all bodies are universal.

Default Servo

What would be the go to servo on this truck? Would like to go with Protek or Savox.

You, chumanji, are correct about the SCT bodies being universal. Pick what style/body lines you like best. I've decided this time around to go with RC Comet Rhythm body because I've always heard good things about them, and I like more of a traditional SCT look.

jrk078 , if that's the only two brands of servos you prefer, then your servo shopping journey is pretty much all wrapped up. Pick what speed/torque/features matters to you. The 155T is a no-brainer to some.

racing outdoors, Id lean towards the 2.0.. its heavier and less effected by wind. The SL is a good indoor car.

The bumper seem so stiff compared to the .3 ...

Lol this has to be the most Anxiety i've ever felt building a kilt with the .3 side by side
The .3 looks way better we really hope this drives as good as everyone says
These 13mm just look so wired with the bigger springs on them

So I know oil is going to come out building the shocks ... but so much is coming out that it's wasting my oil... definitely sick of paying more for less this is a bust 😒 sad the.3 was a beast

Tip drive in your cap screw before pushing your air out the angle is a little crazy and the oil makes it hard to start the threads

When using composite shock caps for the first time, I always pre-tap the bleeder hole threads to make it easier to find that thread engagement point.

Edit: I also have the aluminum shock caps in parts bin should the composite caps fail on me. The SCT410SL opened my eyes to the failure point. I didn't think it would happen.

aluminum shock caps are the only upgrade I’ve done to mine. I’m using a tekin RX8 and a pro4HD 4300kv motor on 2s with a 16t pinion
