I hope the nose dive issue is better than the previous offerings. I tried all the different fixes with no luck, changed driving style still no luck. No matter what Im ordering it! Tekno R/C SCT are rock solid just have minor issues!

A one piece motor mount can be seen...

Some may not like the idea of the one piece motor mount, but after running one on the SCT410SL with no issues, I'm looking forward to the "Set it and forget it" continuation on this platform.

^Dang. I'm not a fan because of tool access to the motor screws.

Sir 51D3WAYS, I knew I was gonna see some feedback once I posted that picture of the motor mount. I'm sure there will be an option for a two piece. If it means running the single piece mount to be able to use the gear cover, then I'm all for it. "The pain" only last for a few moments until you get the correct gearing. Who knows? Maybe the access to the screws is not as bad as it seems..

Could it be a cover for a clutch system?

I am not sure about those shocks! 13mm is awfully small for a tank like this thing looks! Plus the 16mm spring option sounds like a pain to deal with!

Will the front and rear shock lengths be similar to the SCT410.3 (105 and 118mm) or the SCT410SL (85mm and 103mm)?

Will 16mm shocks fit as an alternative?

If the shocks are closer to the 85mm and 103mm lengths, will a short (meaning ~85mm) shock be available?

Will TKR6142 be the part number for a short version of TKR6143?

Hopefully the manual will answer some of these questions.

IDK! I wish they would at least put the manuel on line so we can start getting an idea what we are looking at. I have mine pre ordered so we shall see.

I think it's listed as supporting 16mm springs with an adapter so that to me says 16mm shocks could fit, unless the mount geometry gets in the way. Also makes me assume that the shaft length will be identical to a 16mm shock vehicle so the same springs can be used.

I don’t think 13mm shocks will be a problem. The TLR uses 12mm and the worst part of that setup was the springs. In this case, Tekno put big boy springs on and have a little more body. If the class was active where I live, I’d order one of these ASAP and swap the electronics over from my worn out TLR.

I've never driven one of these before. They seem great for racing. Are they any good as bashers vs the usual truggies and monster trucks?

A person will have the option to run 16mm bore shocks as well.
