Default Rear Arm Mud Guards

Putting finishing touches on some "mud" guards. I like to call them pebble deflectors, 'cause I rarely run in the mud. Anything that helps keep shock boots/shafts from getting all banged up... I'm all for it. I didn't see any options out there for the SCT410 2.0, so I used my EB48 2.0's guards as a template. I don't know how much they'll help, but if you see the stuff I run my RCs in, anything is better than nothing.

Why couldn't you use the following for 17mm hex wheels:
  • TKR9588 Universal Driveshaft Set (f/r, 87mm, EB48SL 2.0, 2 pcs)
  • TKR1602 M4x4mm Set Screws (black, 10pcs)
  • TKR5569 17mm Narrow Wheel Hubs (for TKR5580 axles, lightened, w/pins, 2pcs)

Post #46 from the MT410 2.0 thread in the Monster Truck forum may be helpful.
Tekno RC MT410 2.0

Does anyone know why there are two different driveshaft length options (TKR9588 (87mm) and TKR9589 (86mm))? Both sets are listed as front / rear.

From the MT thread, this is what I found. I’ve ordered these & will try it. I have the 5569 and the pins are thicker than the stock driveshafts and no set screws, so I think the other two parts should help. Will know next week when they arrive.

Default Shock Pistons

LOL. She's not a lightweight, that's for sure.

I built/ran the SCT with the pistons swapped... 5x1.1 in the front, and the 5x1.2 in the rear.

I just had to test it out, and get it out of my system. The box stock setup would have you use 700/600cst (front/rear) shock oils. I chose to go with 550cst shock oil front & rear for some rough/rutted action. I don't think I'll be changing my setup anytime soon. The SCT handled great.

LOL. I was told it's not recommended to run "mud guards", or mud flaps... too much drag.
For the type of RCing, track bashing, impromptu backyard track races I do... I could care less about drag. I get turned on by looks, and anything that looks close to actual Pro2/Pro4 trucks, I'm all for it .

What you see on my SCT410 2.0 (earlier post) is just spare Associated SC10 bumper zip-tied onto the stock bumper. I threw it on there to show someone what they may find out there that could possibly work. I wasn't going to run it, as it was just a mock up. It kind of got left on there by accident, and now that it survived the first round of tumbles/cartwheels... I'm leaving it as is.

My SCT410SL body mounted on SCT410 2.0 for testing.
