@ warrel79

I think what you are referring to is called "snap oversteer".
looking at your setup i would change or try these things.:
on high grip I use orange HR springs with 600cst oil in the front.
using the outside hole on the rear arm is not common. better use the middle.I have limited the uptravel by 2mm.
Using 8° rake and/or the 8° hubcarriers get you more turn in but less in the middle of the corner.
If the car is to edgy for you to drive it is a good idea to try the outside holes on the steering link (parralel arms) it makes the car a lot less agressive.

I had the chance to race the R1 .
I got a little closer to the others but I have some setup to do.

I had the small counter gear come loose twice, Better use more threadlock on there than you normally would.

I edited the fan post for reasons.

10k diff oil with 2 gear is very light IMO, especially with a mod motor and not grippy tires.

L1R uses a metal sleeve as a pivot and the screw goes through and threads into the hub vs the Evo with a shoulder screw threading into the arm and the smooth part going into the hub.

Wondering what you guys would suggest for the Spur. I'll be running a 13.5 and I'll be using the stock slipper assembly. Just think the 83 tooth that comes with the kit is just too damn big. I see that there is the 71 tooth but is that going to fit? And what range of long shaft pinions would go with it. Or do ya think I should just go with the 78 tooth? And what range of pinions would go with the 78 tooth spur? None of the hobby shops here really carry any Schumacher stuff so I'll be ordering from Amain or Discount RC store and just don't really want to end up ordering stuff and it just won't fit properly. Thanks all!

Be cool to check out your car, race there from time to time.

78/26-28 should most likely be the range you want.

Did this car come with all 4 planetary gears for each and only use 2 per diff? Or will i need to get extra gears as tuning options? Also are all the ballstudes 5.5?

The car comes with two planetary gears per diff. On clay I would get both U4176 and U8433. Need two packs of each. I noticed a big difference in overall drivability and handling by going 4 gears on clay.

The ball stud are only 5.5 for the steering.

1 Pack of U4176 gets you 4 small gears,
1 pack of U8433 gets you the needed shims for 2 diffs and the plastic cross for one diff .
2 packs of U4177 gets you the steel pins with a notch.
