Same for me with the new arms, my Arrowmax reamer didn't open them up enough to move freely on their own. Just bought the reamer so I'm not sure if it's the tool or the arms at this point. Broke the arms in the old fashion way at the track with some practice packs.

I'm just talking about the kit carpet setup.

I had to sand down the hinge pin spacers on 3 of the arms to get them to move freely.

All the comments on the arms... ya Rivkin covered this in his YouTube video. They need to be reamed and if they are still tight then sand the shims until they don't bind and fall under their own weight.

No because no one other than Sworks uses those universal style axles. I looked at the 14-3 a few times and was tempted to get one but those and the trash rear hubs killed it for me. Decent car over all and Spencer Heckert is semi local to me and Ive seen him at a few races. But the car needs some revisions and it'll be much better.

That freed up my arms, no reaming needed - the arms were free and loose until the A or D block was tightened. Taking 0.1-0.2mm off each shim worked perfectly.

Yeah, I didn't have to ream any of the arms.

I bought the .2 front arms and tower and put them on my .1 with the used shims. Fit absolutely perfectly.

I used to run the plastic gears on my 74.1 in 13.5 on Astro with a slipper and only had an issue once in 2 years - I had the back of the big gear, where the pin goes, strip once.

Recently installed the LCG plastic gears. Held up the entire race day on Astro, but the teeth started chipping almost immediately at our first carpet day.

Going to try the LCG metal gears with 2-gear setup.

I was on 20k/15k with plastic 4-gear setup. Should I adjust oil with the 2-gear metal setup?

If you’re running carpet, I suggest running the Dustin Evans PDX setup out of the box, don’t even bother with the kit setup, it’s 100x better.

I feel the same way about Dustin Evan's Hobbyplex setup being far better than the kit setup for indoor clay for my B6.4D. It made a world of a difference for my car at my local track.

Is that pill setup correct, or is it supposed to be the opposite? Wouldn’t this give 5* of toe-in?

Yeah, I mentioned that in the video. I reversed the C and D blocks which should give 1 deg of toe-in.

Hi folks, apologies but I can't find a definitive answer as to whether the .2 gearboxes will fit a .1 chassis...it is suspected not but has it been confirmed?

Cheers, Paul
