I'm hoping that someone will help me with a project. I'm trying to adapt the height-adjustable rear hub carriers from the YZ-2 to my aged Kyosho RB. So far, I've learned that the YZ places the wheel 3mm outboard -vs- the RB, and that the RC10 oval 'pill' fits snugly into the YZ carrier (once you cut it to length), allowing the use of 3mm outer pins(!)
I would love to figure out a few things that I haven't been able to figure out from the manual or interwebs searches:
1. The diameter of the rear inner hinge pins: 3 or 3.5mm?
2. The width of the rear arms, pivot-to-pivot..
3. The distance between the rear inner pivots, left-to-right. (and because of toe, it may vary, but, generally)
4. And maybe most important: when Yokomo says that their rear universal shaft is, say 68mm, is that from the outer universal pin to the inner dogbone pin? Getting the length of this is critical. I believe that Yoke provides enough options, along with the possibility of running YZ rear arms (74mm -vs- the 75mm Kyosho arms) to make it work.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Also don't know exact length but hole to hole straight line is 73mm on S3 arm and 75mm on L5 arms from my measurements

The hub carriers that I ordered definitely had inserts set up for 2.5mm. That's why I was excited to learn that the RC10 inserts fit so well (after cutting to length). If there are 3mm-pin yoke inserts available, I'm all ears.
Thank you for measuring your arms!
Do you happen to know the part numbers for each?

This is why it's so hard to modify and adapt parts! I have no clue. 74mm length, and a reference to 3.5mm inner pins were the only references I was able to find on the web. If You're a Yokomo fanatic (I was during the SE/Dogfighter 1 days... sold a NOS kit a few years back), it's easy to keep track of, I imagine.

-The driveshaft length measurement given is from the centre of the CVA joint to the centre of the drive pin for the diff.
-The rear arms for the current cars, use 3.5mm inner and 3mm outer hinge pins:
S3 arm is 73mm between centre of hinge pins, part# Z2-008RS3, or the graphite version Z2-008R3G
L5 arm is 75mm between centre of hinge pins, part# S4-008R5B, or the graphite version S4-008R5G
Note they seem to have added an "A" to the end of these part numbers now.
-Rear hub carriers for the YZ-2 3, 3.1 and YZ-4SF2 all have 3mm outer hinge pins.
The YZ2 hub with 3mm hinge pin is Z2-415RDC
The YZ-4SF2 hub with 3mm hinge pin is S4-415R
There are also Aluminum versions of each Z2-415RS2A and S4-415RS2A
The offset of the 2wd and 4wd hubs are different - 2wd hub puts the axle approx ~4.5mm further outwards than the 4wd hub.

That's fantastic info, and I am super grateful! Thanks, Will27 and lexusbest! I had no idea about the carriers with 3mm outer hinges. The 3.5mm inner pivots probably rule out using the Yoke arms, though 73mm sounds like it could be the perfect length for this project. If/when I get this all sorted out, I will do my best to put up a picture of the results.
Thanks again!
