Curious to see what pistons they look to include with the cars. The shocks when you buy them separate don't appear to come with the 2.2 or 2.0s from the pics.

Yeep, I'm curious too. Camber link mounts also look different.
Sad steering rack hasn't been updated to bearing rack and the battery holder still look like trash.

I think I will keep the cal3 with me and also get a cal3.1

Are the camber link mounts a problem for these? Plastic seems a bit iffy.

I think cost wise the big thing will be if they are changing the chassis. I'd say if you hit stuff, the new shock shafts being a bit thinner can bend a bit easier that CAL3 ones. Its not excessive in my opinion, but I'd say just keep that in mind. Also if they use the 0.5mm limiters inside the shocks put in a 1mm instead right away. The 0.5mm can bend at least that is what i saw in my YZ4SF2 shocks.

If you mean the camber link mounts on the rear carriers, those are the same as the YZ4SF2 and I think what comes with the aluminum carriers.

I haven't seen an issue personally. I just prefer the aluminum. We have kids running those camberlink mounts in the sportsman classes with great success as far as general durability.

Front camber link mounts look the same as before with the 2 options of "standard" and "narrow".
Rear camber link mount looks like a plastic version of Z2-30RUMW, but with the centre hole position only. Looking at the aluminum part, the holes are probably too close together to put all 3 holes on the plastic part.

Could be interesting. The new +1 front arm mount should work nicely for the truck on carpet as well.

No issues here as long as u are using correct length ballstuds. Only had an issue with front turnbuckles. Solved it adding titanium ones.

I never use shock limiters with "thin" pistons if not really needed to limit droop. Those shock limiters are recommended to avoid the piston getting stuck at the bottom at full extension. On the cal3 shock ends hhad enough thread to limit shock droop to correct lenghts

Problem though with that 0.5mm limiter bending can get stuck in the body. 1mm works better.

Yokomo shock bodies are very short. When using stock 22/28mm droop, if you add limiters, shock pistons may hit top plastic cap. I just don't use any inside limiters

I'll have to take a look at that. I am not using any uptravel limiters and I don't recall any cap hitting issues when building the shocks. Also running the spec slash class here, that is something we have "fun" watching for lol

All, what are some things we are wanting to see in a wiki? can look to start adding up stuff that would be useful to this particular model. Right now I am thinking:

- Simplified Spring Chart (similar to what is on the facebook group)

I added many useful info to the wiki. It would be great to add links to aftermarket parts but I would wait for the release before posting any of that
