that would be funny! haha. slim would be like "the three jasons are fighting for first! one chasing after another. jason passes jason! jason gets passed! jason goes for the move, what the heck they are all head to head on the straight! who has the inside? JASON HAS IT! and jason wins!"

anyway, a long time ago, i remember a guy running the yokomo dogfighter2 i think? (is that the name?) and it ran alright. i think you better ask eric (killer89) he runs 4wd i think..

The Yokomo, while it does have an "open" drivetrain, the kit has supplied lexan covers to protect the diff and gears...

If you plan on racing on a dirty track, forget about the Yok.

For SoCal, you should be okay, but you will still need to clean out the diff area frequently otherwise you will destroy your diff or belts. The biggest problem I see with the dirt is the fact that it would stick to the diff lube and you would have a grimy and possible gritty diff...

Also, be prepared to replace the rear dogbone cvd knuckles. They apparently wear out after just a few runs...

I own 3 Lazer ZX5s. I love em and will be selling one only because 2 is enough.

id still grab something like teh zx-5 though. your rear diff may get really screwed up. and you will frequently have to clean your diff.

Default Hey RCGuru

I won't be there at SoCal. I am going fishing out of Newport Landing. Killer89 is going to the Babcock race. He 's been up here at Socal for the last few days. Just got done running a few packs with him. Looks like you 're on your own tomorrow. Later Dude.
