Any idea of what the street price would be for the roller/kit ?
(Like the DR10 kit)
I don’t want to buy the RTR to remove all electronics and tires and replace with better parts.
Thought about trying to build a Hybrid rear motor buggy based off the B5.
Would need to source out some hard to find B5 parts

Is there a difference between the right and left steering block's arm height, or is everything centered?

Looks like a good car to bash around with as well and a stadium truck version would be cool.

Does anyone know if b4 bodies fit the b5/rb10? Got one for my daughter. She's going to want a different body.

B5 chassis is very narrow. I figure the way to go would be to purchase a clear body made for it, part number 72015. Problem is the perpetual "out of stock". I guess it takes an act of god to get these things made....

We have a guy who ran an RB10 in the novice class on. The carpet. He comported himself very well with it actually, though you'll need to put quite a bit of weight up front to offset the motor and put foam in the battery tray to accommodate a shorty pack.

As to your body conundrum Henry, finding an original B4 body for such an experiment could prove challenging. Your best hope is for TeamBlueGroove to pick up the project and but one from their EBAY store. Your best bet is to just get a clear RB10 body as will5879 recommends.

J Concepts, Sabula Tech, or the aforementioned Team Blue Groove. The RB10 tub looks like the old B3/B4, but mounting posts might need to be improvised.
Keep in mind TBG makes the body to order, so give them their requested 10 day turnaround. Just buy something and go for it.

I wish Kyosho would hurry it up with an RB8 already! Seriously though, I'm glad Associated is still making rear motor options. Setting up mid motor chassis is a pretty steep learning curve for Youngsters and beginners.

Anyone found a sway bar set that fits? Looks like this one might, but they've been discontinued/out of stock for awhile - https://www.associatedelectrics.com/...-roll_bar_kit/

The kit for the DR10 should fit if you trim the body.

That's a possibility, although there's only a single bar and considering it's for the rear of a drag car I'd imagine it's on the thick side. I'm running on dirt/clay.

Have you tried the current swaybar kit for the B6.2/B6.3?
