Yup just like you heard, using the Protek 2s receiver charging cable, ( https://www.amainhobbies.com/protek-rc-receiver-balance-charge-lead-2s-to-4mm-banana-w-4s-adapter-ptk-5319/p244687 ) have you tried charging a regular lipo at 10amps??? I have charged a 5000mhap lipo at 5amps with no problem what so ever with this cable. At the moment im out of town working for several months and im unavailable to do the test myself.

Protek says to limit charge current to 3a with that harness. This is the limit imposed by the balance connector manufacturer. Exceeding this limit is incredibly dangerous. If those pins heat up and melt together you now have a dead shorted lipo.
