RC10 Worlds Car
Hello,
After many years of my RC10 Worlds Car sitting in the bottom of a storage box - its time to bring it back to life.
I have a few questions that maybe someone could help me out with.
1. Is there a ball bearing option steering to replace the Oilite bushings and the ASC6254 bellcrank system?
2. Could the V2 Slipper Transmission accept 64P gears instead of 48P gears?
Thanks in advance,
Garrett

RPM used to make bell cranks for the RC-10, front carriers/spindles. Basically everything on the RC-10 at one point could have been converted to RPM, super rare to find rpm parts now days. Dhawk racing makes a aluminum bell crank setup with bearings.
I am not to familiar with the V2 slipper, Best guess is if it fits easy then it will work, 64p gears are recommended for on road or a Dual Sport.
If you keep you keep the existing bell cranks, then the option is to measure that bushing and see if you can find a bearing. You don’t have to measure the entire sleeve if it is one of those. Just measure outer and inner, average thickness of common types, flange or not flanged.

When looking at the manual.. I do not see an absolute need for flanged bearings on the bellcrank, shimmed anyway and sandwiched together the flange does nothing in this case besides holding the crank. Wonder if there is a way.. like a teflon Or nylon washer And do away with the flanges..

There was a company that made an aluminum Bellcrank set many years ago. If you’re ever looking at used RC10’s on a marketplace, it’s a good detail to know. They were rock-solid and super smooth.
