Iv'e got a CP 2.0 mbx5 body so that's good to know.

Yeah, I was a little dissappointed with having to shim not only the diffs, but the cvd's as well. The stock shims that go inside the hubs didnt suit my fancy as the wheels still had the slightest amount of play, so I made up some .015 shims that go between the cvds flange and the bearing.

Drove the car today for the first time. Whatever setup I used when I built it, wasn't too bad. I did have the steering links pop off the ackerman plate when I brushed up against the pipes, but with some different ball studs and washers, that problem will be solved. I'm also running alot of droop so that could be it too.

I think I am using GS-ST068 with a washer under the button head. Kyosho tie rod ends should work.

Much appreciated Brandon, thanks. I'm glad you posted it here as my computer is jacked up and I can't open any files.

Raced the car today and was quite impressed with it, and didnt' have any problems with the tie rods popping off. Track was extremely beat up and I wasn't running the tires I should have been using so it was tough getting it setup , not to mention the engine I was running had a nasty air leak causing the idle to spike, so I pretty much rode the brakes during the entire main.

Couple questions:

It's not listed in the book, but are the kit clutch springs 1.1's?

What ratings are the shock springs?

Flat or hump battery pack?

The above setup is for what type of track?

Thanks again!
