I have a Feigao 8xl 2084kv motor in my Losi 8ight-t 1.0 Tekno chassis and my motor rear bearing went out and popped the rear cover off. I am going to just source a new bearing and try to epoxy the rear cover back on but I am not sure how much longer it will last. The front bearing also looks pretty bad but am not sure if I should attempt to pry off the front cover to change it. I would like to look at get a replacement motor, my current tekno motor mount can only support a 36mm dia motor, and I am having trouble finding one. I run a 5s 5000mah battery with mamba max esc.

redcat racing appears to have a motor that will fit your needs. search for 36mm motor redcat

personally I would see if I could find the 42mm mount.

I have a Tekin RX8 ESC and T8 Gen 2 motor in a Losi 8Ight. It seems to be pretty competative though I don't have a huge frame of reference.
