hey guys,

I want to put a motor in this rampage xbe that will fit the stock motor mount. The stock motor is a 980kv, 44mm in diameter and 83mm long with a 5mm shaft and 4 mounting holes that are 25mm apart from the one directly opposite of it. This would also mean that the CAM has that same dimensions as those screws go through the cam and then into the motor.

I want an 8s motor and have decided on the Poseidon P-1527 1500k. This motor is 40mm wide and 106mm long. the motor itself will fit in the car I believe as 108mm is the Max length.

HOWEVER when I look at the stats of the Poseidon, I see there are 4 mounting holes on the end of the Poseidon. Can I safely assume that these are the same 25mm in distance from each other? If it is all standard, then this motor should mount right up to the stock mount.

Would the Max6 esc be good for this motor for 8s?

I've got the motor installed, just waiting on pinions gears (9,10,11tooth) and 4s batteries and a max5 esc
