What happened to tire glueing lately??

All I do to dismount a tire is with low boiling water for 15 min. Boil new tires in water with about 5ml of dish detergent. Sand, scape, and prep old wheels and low boil in detergent water. Let everything dry for 15 minutes. Mount and glue.
I have never had a tire fly off, some small peels but never lost a tire.
Again all super glues, hobby or otherwise reacts with water absorbed into the rubber and plastic which are slightly hygroscopic.

Well they kinds came off but the foams are toast i think as they got real thin I think ill stick with acetone vapors

So how do you dismount tiures by boiling them without the foam in them? Some serious magic going on there in my head I bought some new pro line glue so going to clean up and re-try my troubled ones again soon

Ahh I was dismounting to keep the tires not the wheels so much

Cut the tire open with a pair of scissors first. I use a pair of lexan scissors and I start in the vent hole of the tire. Then I can take the foams of the wheel and boil the remaining rubber of rims. This allows me to reuse foams. And used foams are usually better.

I’ve found Simple Green works well. I believe it works better than a solvent as it removes less moisture from tire, encouraging cure as CA cures with moisture. I didn’t see how long you let’s tires cure before running; how long after glue were tires ran?

Green 3M abrasive pad to scuff the rim mounting surface. Dremel and a sanding drum to scuff the tire mounting surface. Clean both with denatured alcohol (cheap and effective) and clean terry towels. Allow to dry. Mount tires. Crack open a new bottle of your fave CA. Apply to the front side of all tires, using bands to secure, then go back to the first one and do the backside.
Done.
Treat your CA like milk. Buy only what youll need, or the rest goes to waste.

OK, someone told me to try harbor freight super glue, its about $3 for a 10 pack. So far its seriously the best ive used, only issue is that it comes out fast but even fixing older tires its just real good
