Its better than sliced bread. But in all seriousness , coming from the KC with every bells and whistle installed, the Laydown drives circles around it. I was going to keep my KC as a backup, but this car needs no substitute.

What are peoples thoughts and opinions on this platform compared to the B6.1 and XB2? I am liking the look of it and asking for peoples views before I purchase one.

Cheers

Find someone at your track with a stock LD and ask to drive it. Then find some of the other brands and try them. I love my LD and do not put a bunch of extras in it.

Picking mine up today at the LHS! Can't wait to start the process...…...again! Didn't get any extras to start off with except the diff lockout assembly and front swaybars. Lets rock n roll. Can't wait to kick some (Ass)ociated Butt!

Really I probably have 50 batteries through my out drives and no signs of wear also same idler and diff gears. The only thing that I had that broke was a bent captured end. Maybe it's the builder and not the car. Just follow instructions and you should be fine.

So glad they've got a titanium version for those ball ends. From experience with my KC, I've bent so many of those ball ends! Shoulda actually already picked up some of those titanium ones, but oh well, I'll see how long the stock ones last. Maiden voyage race tomorrow at the HUGE Thunder Road indoor RC track in Waite Park, MN. (Home of the 2019 J Concepts race)……..EXCITED!!!

I've just finished the build of this beauty (I only need to paint it). Last RC car built was at least 8 years ago (started the hobby in 1990 till 1999 and somewhere in 2008 i started it again for 3 years).
Bought this beaty for the looks, it looks awesome as far as i'm concerned.
I'm only driving on the parking lot (tarmac) and using street tires (Schumacher Venom and Pro Line Rib)
Anyone can give me a help with choosing a good pinion gear? I'm about to buy a 20 teeth for it, is this a good starting point or am i way off?

ESC : Corally Cerix Pro-160
Motor : Corally Molan SS 3.0 4.5Turn Brushless motor

thanks for the help, it's appreciated
