Welcome to the ET410 Wiki page.

  • 95% parts compatibility with the EB410 4WD 1/10th scale buggy.
  • Updated 3mm 7075 CNC chassis and revised A and B hinge pin braces.
  • 13mm hard anodized threaded shocks with locking spring perches.
  • New 32 pitch spur gear for ultimate durability
  • 3.5mm shock shafts with revised dual guide x-ring cartridge.
  • 7075 CNC machined adjustable hinge pin brace system.
  • Three high volume fluid-filled adjustable differentials.
  • Lightweight 7075 tapered center driveshafts.
  • Quick access to differentials and maintenance friendly layout.
  • Captured CVA front and rear driveshafts with heavy duty 6mm stub axles.
  • Fully ball raced reverse bellcrank steering system.
  • Uses 1/10th AE Offset Stadium Truck or Traxxas Slash Short Course offset wheels.
For you guys all discussing what power plant to run, I would take note of the following statement from Matt W.

Matt - Probably would recommend a 10.5 for something similar to 13.5 in a buggy. I personally run a 6.5 in it and it’s pretty fast. Pro4 4600 will run in it but it has a lot of power and will need to be turned down in the esc.

Only thing I've broken on mine so far was a front caster block. But I also have the bulkheads and arms too.

I think the only things I have done broken on mine was rear bulk head, wing mount, and bent hinge pins oh and I did break an outdrive on the rear diff once.

Everything else has held up great!

spare spur gear in general isn't a bad thing to have.

Hey et410 owners. How's the maintenance compared to an e-buggy. I don't race on the 8th scale track but I love bombing my sworkz e-buggy when I get a chance. I just don't love the upkeep and tire cost. For a fun track basher how would the et410 compare to an e-buggy? Cost:fun ratio? Also wanted something to build and play with in the backyard. Since we all home for awhile.

It is done, built a et410.2.
Start with a eb410.2
Add the et410 new style swing arms with the 3.5 holes for the pins
Add et410 drive shafts, turn buckles, front and rear shock towers.
Move the front shocks to the back, and get et410 rear Shock shafts and bodies, for the rear.
Add et410 shock sprints.
As I am nuts, 8th scale speed control and 4 pole motor, the 32pitch spur gear.
Excited to see how much I like it, compared to my old one.
Old one is working on evolving to become a 2wd shortbus.

Haven't posted on RC Tech in forever but I noticed some folks were asking about setup sheets. I ran my truck all winter at a couple of local indoor clay tracks. The setup sheet I am posting here is for a small, tight indoor track with pretty good grip. I tried rear shocks forward and absolutely did not like how the car handled. I struggled to get the car to rotate for the tight 180's on this layout and the extra on power rear grip would have needed to have been tuned out as well. Just didn't like how the car felt and it wasn't as fun to drive. I'll be working on outdoor setups as soon as tracks open back up again. Notice I'm running a 6.5 turn 2 pole...more than enough for any track I have ever been on.

That was probably my biggest worry. I'd like to have an onboard camera to see just what gets thrown in, and spat out during a run. I ran most of last year and the beginning of this year on a spur that had a 2/3 of the teeth basically gnawed down. Just send it. Those spur gears are pretty darn tough.

Default Motor/esc help

Hey all, hoping some of you can shed some light on my situation. Built an et410, running mks550 servo, hobbywing xr10pro and 5.5t g3 motor, spektrum sr315 receiver and gens ace 5500mah 65c batteries. Having an issue with the esc where if starts out great then after about 30 seconds the car slows until it stops. if I stab full throttle the cuts in and out but car barely moves. It will move on 1/4 throttle but slowly. Not sure if batteries in using are bad, my charger says each sell is the correct voltage. Went through the parameters in the program box and lowered the voltage cutoff to 3.2v. No change. All the other parameters are factory. Anyone else running this motor/esc have issues like this? This is my first electric car after a long hiatus being out of the sport. Any info will be appreciated, thank you.

Try removing the LVC altogether. I've noticed that HW controllers are very sensitive to voltage dips when driving.

Doubt it. The et410 swingarms with the 3.5 holes have been out for a long time. The chassis has been the the same between the eb410.2 and et410. Probably not enough change and sales to justify it. I personally would love to see a et410.2/et410.2 sct, two in one box kit. There would be be something.

Having an ET410.2/SCT410 in one box would be extremely expensive. There would be a lot of parts sharing, true, but the parts that are different are pricey.

But would be cool. Maybe a hop up kit? Chassis, Bumpers, Body Mounts, +1 Hubs. Think that would be it. $180? Just thinking it would be cool. Also an et410.2 upgrade kit? New ABCD blocks, 3.5 pins, 3.5 swingarms? Yep, not going to happen.
