how many ET’s were there? Was it all 5 out of 5 who happened to break their bulkheads? And if I was the parts guy, I’d stock more bulkheads if that was the case.

there were 15 most of them experienced and it was all rear bulkhead from what I saw.

All this talk about hinge pins reminds me of Yeti users beefing up front end. A couple of $ for spare pins, and your good to go.

Anyone out there running aftermarket front bumper on their ET410? I know I'm getting ready to give it a go with a TBR piece bolted on the front end. I'm hoping the bumper absorbs more energy than transferring it to something else. We shall see.

Yup I am running a T-bone front bumper on my ET and I am pretty sure it has saved me a few times from having to replace a part or two.

Ya I broke my rear bulkhead as well on my first time out with my ET but the hinge pins were all straight still. The second and third times out I brought it home in one peice. Friday though on my 4th time out I broke a rear hub. Again though all of the hinge pins look good. Has anybody else been breaking rear hubs? I was thinking about getting the Trinity aluminum hubs but somethings got to give and the a-arms seem pretty tough so if I go aluminum I'm affraid it's the bulkhead that will go every time. And hubs are cheaper and easier to change.

My guess is the ET410 has gotten really popular since it’s release a short time ago. But majority of owners aren’t the “hardcore racers”. Rather its for the guys who go to the track with a group of friends to have a good time and a few good laughs. I’m sure there would be far less broken parts if the owners didn’t crash as often, especially myself lol. I can count a good 20 ET410 owners at our local track, yet we still don’t have a dedicated class for racing.

As for the front, Exotek makes a nice heavy duty brace that reinforces the shocktower with the bulkhead.

As for the inner hingepins, it might be designed to snap before the bulkhead or arms do.

The problem I saw was that inner hinge pins didn't snap, they would bend and arm would snap. The McMaster Carr ones I posted earlier seemed to have solved it for me, on a hard hit, pin snaps, arm usually still good. I have a stock pile of front arms I may not need for some time now lol, but I am good with that.

Ran a couple of packs through my eb410MIP to et410MIP to et410. I honestly believe the MIP chassis is not cool for a et410. It now jumps a lot more predictable. Love how it powers through the corners. Yes, I still race a eb410MIP, and love it. I have kept the Rear shock in front of rear towers all the time for testing. This was on indoor clay. Now just have a bit of a heating issue. Reedy 510r speed control with a Maclan 6.5, 15 pinion. Fans on both, seems like it was just making 5 minutes without getting to hot. Both are older and a bit abused. Ordered a Maclan Pro and their new 5.5. Bet either the Motor or Speed control were going bad. The other couple et410's were goofing around for at least twice as long, with similar setups.

i can can go a solid 20min and have temps come off on Moyer and speedo around 1210 to 120

glad to hear that MIP chassis was the culprit of the jumps being off

i run the 510R and a reedy M3 6.5T, but i have a 13.0mm torque rotor installed. with a 16T pinion, my esc and motor temps were 80-90 degrees this past weekend (motor has a fan, esc does not). ambients were low 50's. it has been an awesome combo for me.

unfortunately there was no class at the track i ran. i ended up running the ET in two classes (1/10 buggy and 1/8 buggy). TQ'd both. ended up second in 1/10 and first in 1/8. was completely dialed with kit setup and 40 gram weight in rear.

its not bad but I much still prefer the factory techno look. Wish they would have dovetailed the rear a bit. Other than that I like it. Probably get one to pain all pretty lol

I wish there was a longer Chassis available, longer rear drive shaft, and Shortcourse body mounts. :)
