its probably a few grams...don't forget that the whole top shaft is hollow. It's probably within a few grams of a B6 topshaft.

Don’t forget that the B6.1 slipper eliminator is also (partially) hollow, shorter, has cut gears and doesn’t have the long steel bolt. For $25, I think this is going to be one of the best 17.5 bang for the buck upgrades.

If I need a little more rear end I'll drop to a white spring, if I need more I'll start raising the outer hinge pin. I've personally found the B6 rear to be VERY locked in compared to the RB6.6 I came from hence freeing it up by lowering the outer hinge pin as this gives more rotation without compromising forward drive.
Some people like a more locked in car, if so I'd raise the outer hinge pin nearer the axle but you have to be careful not to generate too much driveshaft bind on a bumpy track.

If the car becomes a little pointy I'll go up in front oil 2.5wt rather than make any geometry changes.

To be honest it was driving the B6 with this setup against my RB6.6 that I'd spent all season working on which convinced me to leave my long standing Kyosho drive to race a B6 as a total independent
Thanks to Dell @ Model Car Racer & the guys at CML DISTRIBUTION - Radio Control Models & RC Hobby Products (UK AE importer) I now have brilliant support.
Thanks a lot!!!

I am curious to know if it comes with 6.1 comes with a full set of anti-roll bars or if I should buy them now at my LHS.

I believe the 6.1 does, but the 6.1D does not.

I added the link to the new parts list to the Wiki. According to that, the B6.1 includes 91821, 91822, and 91823, i.e both anti-roll bar sets and the anti-roll bar hardware set, and the B6.1D does not.

Has anyone heard is the 29th still the approximate release date? And would it be worth it to run the sway bars on the 6.1D on a high to mid bite indoor track?

Sway bars are one more tuning option. Without knowing your tracks or having ever run on US style clay tracks my guess would be that having another tuning option never hurts.

The Hobbywing Justock combo for $100 and a $50 servo is a great way to start out and won't be a limiting factor on your laptimes for several years. Just make sure you get a servo model that is rated as 0.12 seconds (or less. Personally I shoot for 0.10 seconds or even 0.08) and 140 in-oz or greater and you will be golden until it wears out.

If you start to feel under powered in the stock class a couple years down the road, all you need is a fresh/updated motor and battery. The speed control can matter for how the throttle feels on the track, but the total power is 95% determined by the motor and battery.

Compare the part numbers. AE isnt going to create a new part number for a B6.1 piece that is exactly the same as a part used on the B6. If part numbers are different chances are the parts are different.

Everyone asking if they can use whatever part from a previous car on the new car have no clue...nobody has the new car to compare it to.
Jason B, TC5Driven and Braxamus like this.

Hard to say for sure, but some of the b6.1 parts on amain.....look to be combos. Like the front top plate and bulkhead. maybe they are different....but they look the same.
