Talking My 6x6 Flatbed Crawler

Already have a thread on rccrawler but since i'm a member here I will share some pics and video of its development. Based off HPI's crawler/wheely king chassis and axles. If you want more details just ask. Has independent steering on the far rear axle now too. Thanks for looking

Woah!!! O_O That thing looks like a master piece Was it custom built? I was thinking of building one of these big trucks. What motor is it and where did you get the pieces if you built it.

The bed trim is 1/16in angle with the main part being thin sheetmetal. The build did take more than a couple months but only because I would shelf it until more inspiration would come. I am using a rooster crawler esc with a 55turn crawler motor. It's given it plenty of low end. I have seen a couple very nice axial 6x6's on youtube you should give it a try. All the pieces I got to build it were from Home Depot with the small metric hardware coming from Ace Hardware. I can get nearly an hour runtime with my 5000mah lipos. It is a pretty nice novelty truck and it turns heads whenever I take it out but it still takes a beating. Not afraid to be rough on it since its all replaceable.
Thanks for looking guys.

i would give it a try eventually, but need to get all the extra parts for it.

Nice Work.

Dudes that build their own stuff are always impressive.

Little bobcat is awesome. I uh.... had to go find one and bought it... ...lol... Cute buggers.

I think those bodies look pretty custom myself. Surprisingly the torque is very good for the 55 turn and a 5000 2s. Heres a pic from within the last couple days.
