This is random but a brand new Axial EXO burns to the ground because of a LiPo fire.

Default High Desert Raceplace 02/25/12

WOW Noah, that would suck. Good thing it happened at the skate park and not in his car or house!!!

It was a fun night of club racing at HDRP. Here are some pictures. I didn't get a chance to take many since I was helping call races. Thank you to everyone who came out

Default Vegas R/C.

I talked with the owner of Vegas R/C today. A group of us are planning to go to Las Vegas to race in the Kyosho Point Series race #4 at Vegas R/C on March 31st. Please feel free to get in touch with me if you are interested in going with us. Here are the tire compounds he recommends for the track:

Front Tires: Losi Pink Tapers

Rear Tires: Blue JConcepts Barcodes, M3/M4 Proline Suburbs, and AKA Vektors in Soft

Thanks for the information Sean I wish I could make it on the 31st but I don't think my daughter would have very much fun in Vegas for her 5th birthday Maybe in 16 years

Yesterday was a lot of interesting racing. Lots of broken trucks and such.

I broke a rear a arm, a front a arm, a rear chassis plate, and a CVA dogbone. (all a arms and rear chassis plate broken on those goddamn nails)

Oh, and I took apart the transmission, and my idler gear isn't looking so nice... AGAIN. I think the topshaft is screwing them up, along with making my truck so loud.

Luckily for me, everywhere I've looked that topshaft is out of stock.

I could tear apart that B4 Sean gave me but I don't know if I'll have the same problem.

So I guess I could take the electronics from my SC10 and stick them in my XXX CR?

I'm glad no one was there to take pictures, I would be embarrassed for people to see how terribly I did.

Hope everyone else had a [somewhat] good weekend!

Hey bud, are you talking about the tranny in your sc10 giving you trouble? if so I might have the answer. One of our guys was having the same problem with the idler gear.

Yup!

It is way louder than most of the SC10's/B4.1's/T4.1's etc.

TELL ME.

You could call me.. Might be easier. First thing I would make sure you have the spacer in the top shaft...

Oh yes it always had it

The motor mount is thread locked so the screws are barely in causing as little drag, along with new Avid RC bearings.

How long have you been having this problem?

Well the truck has been loud since I built the kit.

I've only stripped one idler.

But this one is looking driveable, just not as perfectly molded as a new out of package one.
