I believe what was being discussed was internal accountability. It's pretty obvious the facility is pretty tight and locked down from the outside!

$100 to $200 depending on the locking mechanism. Search for RFID door lock.

I like the idea of a fixed schedule. We could even post this on the website

With 2-8min and 3-5min races a round should take, at the most, 45min. This leaves 30 min between rounds. If that's to much we start a new round each hour.

Start Rd 1 - 6:30pm
Start Rd 2 - 7:45pm
Start Mns - 9:00pm
Done Racing - 10pm at the latest.

If for some reason we have a large turnout we can adjust.
I like that too...very tight...

As one of the people who is perpetually showing up right before racing is supposed to start (due to work and traffic from FTC), you guys really should start at 630 and not bother waiting around. I pretty much operate on the assumption that I will miss the first round of qualifying due to charging batteries, etc, and it should be a similar story with other people who can't/don't show up earlier.

Well done well done!

I'll be back around on Thursday or maybe earlier in the week... been busy with work and play the last 2 weeks. One week back, and then I am out for roughly 3 weeks with more work, play, and vacation. Then I can focus for a couple weeks on prep for Vegas.

Yeh, notice I said "roughly", even though I was right... There this Thursday, out for 3 weeks after that, and back for 2, then IIC. Did you have to call dumper and have him help you read a calendar to figure that one out?

You should also think about what the landlord thinks about it.

If your worried about your stuff...TAKE IT HOME.

Why would the land lords care? Every business in the mall has their own security systems installed?

And telling people to take their shit home undermines one of the values of the key fee IMHO. But whatever.

Maybe we should just have one of the beta brites say "Please leave if you shouldn't be here, Thank you!" That'll set people straight

Or get a 300 lb logging chain

I like the logged entry feature RFID access, as well as ability to restrict access without changing locks and keys. I've been nosing around for equipment. Shouldn't be a destructive install that landlord would care about.

guys, back to the shirts. i know that some of you may not want black. i understand that we all have different needs and desires. for the time being, we are trying to get these done before vegas, and this is a first run. art said that he will be making more shirts with different designs in the future. the colors and everything look nice the way it is set up. lets get this first batch done, and this look for a different color in the future. since outdoor racing will be one in a few weeks anyways, black should not be too big a hinderance for the winter season. perhaps look for a lighter color and new design when spring rolls around.

I haven't heard or seen any resistance to Art's original proposal of staying with Black shirts - it's fine with me.

If we need some more drama to keep us thriving though - here it goes....it's really not hard to get black shirts as well as white shirts. Not sure what company we are using, but I have been able to simply select colors via drop down menu with no extra charge. Yeah, you might have to change a color or two on a JPEG file, but that's certainly not difficult.
