Here is round two of pics, My first R/C cars, and all my dabbling with Nitro cars before actually getting serious about racing.

It was pretty fun at that track. The owner would dim the lights and go all fancy disco lighting during driver introductions when they hosted larger races. It's too bad the place shut down (the owner had to sell the rink) it was an epic place to race Nitro outside in the parking lot (pics still to come), and inside it was a great track and group there.

Last post of the night:

Pics of some of the other tracks I've been at. Nothing too special other than a pic of the now buried Trackside carpet track, or the Den RC outdoor track.

I ran a bunch of packs today using some Sweep Kitty Rugs, and it was one of the best days practice days I've ever had. Those tires have a bit more grip than the Jacos which was perfect for a somewhat green track.

This new rug is awesome. I'm still getting used to seeing my car helicopter when I tap a board, but it's making me more precise.

Click-Trak takes some getting used to. There's no flappers or points, it's all rounded corners and nipples. And taps actually mean something, unlike before where they would bounce you back into the lane and you might go faster with a tap depending on how bad your lines are.

It's more realistic to what you'll see at big races. I'm happy for that kind of practice. But I do sometimes miss driving around in "god mode" where taps made your laps faster.

I was the other way. I flipped out on lady and properly made her so nervous and got to stay all week for free.

If not for that stupid BQ screw, I would have won 3 B's instead of C's.

Wasn't your idol Stevo in the C this year?

Yep and I gave him a hard time about it as well.
